Chandeliers, ceiling lamps and wall lamps have their own installation methods

The installation of household lamps and lanterns should be determined according to different types. Chandeliers, ceiling lamps and wall lamps have their own installation methods. Next, we will introduce the installation requirements and methods of several common lamps and lanterns.

(1) Installation requirements

1 lamps and accessories shall be complete and free from defects such as mechanical damage, deformation, paint peeling and lampshade cracking.

2 the bearing capacity of the fixings on the wall and ceiling where the lamps are installed shall match the weight of the lamps.

3. The chandelier shall be equipped with wire hanging box, and each wire hanging box can only be equipped with one set of chandelier. The surface of the chandelier must be well insulated without joints, and the cross section of the conductor shall not be less than 0.4mm2. The wiring in the wire hanging box shall take measures to prevent the lamp from falling due to the stress of the wire head. Lamps weighing more than 1kg shall be equipped with hanging chains. When the weight of chandeliers exceeds 3kg, they shall be fixed by embedded hooks or bolts. The light wire of the hanging chain lamp shall not be subject to tension, and the light wire shall be braided and forked with the hanging chain.

4 ceiling lamps with incandescent lamps as light sources shall not be directly installed on combustible components; The bulb shall not be close to the lampshade; When the distance between the bulb and the insulating table is less than 5mm, thermal insulation measures shall be taken between the bulb and the insulating table. The power of incandescent lamps shall not exceed the maximum power allowed by the lamp.

5 when the fluorescent lamp is used as the light source, the ballast shall be installed on the phase line, the lamp shall have a shell to prevent the lamp foot from falling off, and an allowance shall be left in the lamp box. The frame of the giant lamp shall be parallel to the decorative straight line of the ceiling, and the frame of the lamp shall be close to the ceiling surface.

6. The phase line of the screw lamp cap shall be connected to the terminal of the central contact, the zero line shall be connected to the threaded terminal, and the insulating shell of the lamp cap shall be complete without damage and leakage.

7 the diameter of the hook for fixing the lantern shall not be less than the lamp hook, and the minimum diameter of the lamp shall not be less than 6mm.

(2) Installation methods of several lamps

1. Chandelier: when the chandelier is installed on the top surface of concrete, it can be fastened with embedded parts, through bolts and expansion bolts. During installation, the specification of the expansion bolt used can be determined according to the theme and weight of the lamp, but the minimum should not be less than M6 (mm), the multi head chandelier should not be less than M8 (mm), and the number of bolts should be at least 2 less. Light self tapping expansion pipe screws cannot be used.

2 ceiling lamp: the ceiling lamp has a round, square or rectangular base (chassis), with different sizes. The lamp base can be fastened with expansion bolts or wood screws on embedded wood bricks. If the diameter of the base of the lamp holder exceeds 100mm, 2 screws must be used. If embedded bolts and through bolts are used for the installation of lamp base, the bolt diameter shall not be less than 6mm. Wood screws can be used to fix the lamps on the bottom platform, and the number of wood screws shall not be less than the number of mounting holes given by the lamps.

3 wall lamp: according to the structure of the base, the wall lamp can adopt the bottom platform or not. When using the bottom platform, fix the bottom platform first, and then fix the wall lamp on the bottom platform. The bottom platform is generally made of wood, the thickness of which shall be greater than 15mm, and the surface shall be painted with decorative paint. During the installation of wall lamps, screws can be screwed into the installation screw hole of the lamp position box, or holes can be drilled on the wall, wood bricks can be embedded or fixed with plastic pipe expansion screws. Generally, there are no less than 2 screws for the base of wall lamp. The installation height of the wall lamp is generally 2 ~ 2.2m from the center of the lamp to the ground, and the wall lamp installed at the head of the bed should be 1.2 ~ 1.4m.

4 downlight: downlight is an embedded lamp, which is suitable for ceiling. The basic form of the lamp is cylindrical, and the lamp mouth is a metal wide edge ring plated with lead, titanium or nickel. After the lamp is installed, it is close to the top surface and has good decoration. A clamping spring is respectively arranged on both sides of the lamp cylinder as a device for fixing the downlight. The opening is in the direction of the lamp port, and use the butterfly nut to adjust the spacing of the snap ring. Installation steps:

5 mark and drill holes on the ceiling according to the size and installation position of downlight.

6 connect the reserved power line in the ceiling with the downlight.

7 adjust the butterfly nut for fixing the spring plate of the downlight so that the height of the spring plate is the same as the thickness of the ceiling.

8 push the downlight into the opening of the ceiling and install a suitable bulb
